Eight month old Jupiter
was adopted from Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue (MAGDRL)
on Saturday, March 24, 2001. See Jupiter's MAGDRL

Jupiter's color is Fawnequin, a non-standard piebald
marking of Great Danes. He has one brown eye and one
blue eye and is absolutely stunning! __At 8 months
old, Jupiter weighed 95 lbs. By late April, he weighed
106. By September at 13 months old, he was a slim
128 lbs. and 34 1/2 inches at the withers. At three
years old, he was a full-chested 145 lbs and 36 inches
at the withers. Jupiter was a handsome puppy who grew
into a Thief of Hearts!

Sweet
girl ~ Merlot~
She was born on September 6, 2001. She was purchased
by sweethearts who later parted. The man married someone
else and Merlot went to live with them. The new wife
hated her and said she was vicious, so the man turned
her in at an animal shelter. On the day before she
was scheduled for euthanasia, Mid-Atlantic Great Dane
Rescue League (MAGDRL) rescued Merlot.

This was a very fun
project to paint. Pet portrait painting of three gorgeous
Great Dane doggies have one of the sweeties and expressive
eyes; combined by the breath taking Sunset picture provided
by client created a colorful pet portrait painting with
a fun composition.

mail ( Photos are returned with completed hand painted
cCommissioned leash holder)
The wood is
primarily sealed and cover with several coats of
high quality artist gesso to proceed with the pet
portrait sketch and multiple layers of acrylic painting,
then whole piece is varnish with several coats for
protection.
Takes approx 10-15 days to complete painting.
